A full-day specialised educational session on Negative Pressure Wound Therapy and foam designed for healthcare clinicians seeking to expand their clinical understanding and practical skills. This session is designed to consolidate your knowledge and confidence in Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT) and foam.

The learning objectives for the session include:

- Describe the evidence-based properties and functions of ALLEVYN foam

- Select appropriate foam dressings for different wound types and exudate levels

-Explain the principles of NPWT, including mechanism of action and indications for different wound types

-Identify appropriate patient and wound selection criteria for NPWT, including contraindications and risk factors

-Perform NPWT dressings confidently and manage potential complications and troubleshooting issues associated with NPWT

-Apply NPWT principles to real-life clinical scenarios through case studies
