On Friday 29th September 2023, we were pleased to welcome the Pink-Haired Lady Karen Lorenzon to our community space to host her first KonnectFest in Perth.
Karen runs Konnect Fest events around Australia to provide a space for NDIS Providers and inclusive businesses to enjoy a day away from the office networking, collaborating and making new connections within the sector.
Attendees hear from sponsor businesses in a welcoming Q&A with Karen then enjoy other presentations and discussions throughout the day.
We hope all the attendees enjoyed the event and big thanks to Karen for bringing her special energy and passion to WA. As the mother of a child with disability and a person working within the NDIS, Karen knows how important it is for Providers to understand and support each other to ensure the best outcomes for their participants.
Surgical House was pleased to sponsor this event through the donation of our community space in Osborne Park. This large, open room can be made available for training and events that benefit people and Providers within the disability and aged-care sectors.
With disability access, the venue also offers a modern kitchen equipped with a warming oven, fridge, dishwasher, large urn and a range of cutlery and crockery. We have 50 chairs, trestles and folding tables, a whiteboard and a state-of-the-art AV system.
There are two smaller offices available for mixed used, short-term bookings that may suit allied health providers to meet clients. With free onsite and street parking.
If you would like to know more about using the Surgical House community space for an event, training, business meetings or other related uses please call 9381 4199 or email surgical@surgicalhouse.com.au .
